Our lip balms are made in paperboard tubes that are biodegradable, recyclable and compostable.

The base is a cardboard disc that allows the product inside to be pushed up the tube.

To use them is easy: Hold the tube between your thumb and middle finger, using your index finger to push the bottom disc upward.

The more you push up, the more product comes out.

If you pushed up too far, just gently tap the tube on a hard , flat surface like a desk, this will bring the product down.

Excellent question. We do use essential oils in our soaps for their benefits, however we don't use essential oils in our candles. The reason for this is because essential oils in soaps are for personal use, whilst candles are more general use.

Candles spread scent throughout an entire room, which means all in the room will be affected. We use natural fragrance oils, which are still man-made, but are derived from natural components to make complex scents.

Certain essential oils, when burned for too long can be toxic for pets, children and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Not only this, but essential oils can combust (catch ire) when exposed to high heat and flames.

It is for this reason we aim to ensure the safety of our candles so that everyone can enjoy them.
